The Computer Center of the University of Zielona Góra is a university-wide unit and functions in the Division of the Vice Chancellor for Science and International Cooperation.

The Computer Center's main activities are to provide other units of the University with connections to the computer network and the Internet, to maintain the main equipment and servers involved in data collection and processing, and to develop and maintain software for managing the University. The Computer Center coordinates and organizes work related to the development of information systems, databases, especially the Dean's Office, SELS, SKEP, PERS, Quatra MAX systems for the University of Zielona Góra. The scope of duties also includes maintaining the efficiency of the administrative staff's computer equipment (installing, maintaining functionality, maintaining licenses for software, etc.). The University of Zielona Gora's Computer Center also plans to provide teaching activities for the university's organizational units, linked to the university's system for booking and monitoring the use of lecture and exercise rooms.

In addition, the Computer Center of the University of Zielona Góra is authorized as a telecommunications operator, which, as part of the Zielonogórska Miejska Sieć Komputerowa ZielMAN, allows it to conduct service activities for state and local government offices, companies and individuals in the field of transmission, Internet access and hosting services.
