The University's Computer Network and Zielona Góra Municipal Computer Network ZielMAN, which intermingle in many locations, have more than 100 network nodes in their structure in Zielona Góra (including New Kisielin), Nowa Sól, Sulechów. Thanks to the use of own and leased fiber-optic cables, the most important nodes are connected in a way that ensures redundancy of connections, which guarantees the possibility of uninterrupted operation in case of failure of individual fiber-optic routes. Most network nodes are equipped with backup power supply systems,
which combined with the use of redundant paths (protection on the links), gives very high availability of individual network nodes.

The most important node and heart of USK UZ and ZMSK ZielMAN is the Data Processing Center of CK UZ located on Campus A, at 50 Podgórna Street.
