LARGE LEAK OF LOGINS AND PASSWORDS OF POLISH INTERNET USERS

As reported by the website Zaufana Trzecia Strona https://zaufanatrzeciastrona.pl major leak of logins and passwords of Polish Internet users has been discovered in recent days. The disclosed data concerns large websites, portals, online stores, as well as banks.
Here are some of the sites from which the most data leaked:

•     poczta.onet.pl – 28 747,
•     poczta.wp.pl – 12 056,
•     online.mbank.pl – 10 140,
•     .ingbank.pl – 1227,
•     .gov.pl – 44 385,
•     morele.net – 2672,
•     x-kom.pl – 10 761,
•     allegro.pl – 88 282,
•     facebook.com – 119 334

The data was probably obtained using malware that retrieves logins and passwords remembered by the browser.

WHAT TO DO?

At HaveIBeenPwned.com  https://haveibeenpwned.com/  (a site that collects information about data breaches and allows you to check whether your authorization data has been affected by any of the leaks), you can check whether your e-mail address is included in the database provided on the Internet.

where you can also verify your email and see if it was among the data made public by the hackers.

People whose email addresses are in the database should change their login passwords for the leaked domains as soon as possible
